Autumn Cale

Autumn Cale, owner of Bijou Spa & Boutique, has a loving spirit and her heart is eager to help people feel good about themselves inside and out. She’s an experienced licensed esthetician specializing in customized holistic skin-care practices. She appreciates her guests that trust and enjoy coming to see her because they know she cares for them and that she does her very best to make sure they get a complete, beautiful experience. She loves to laugh and have fun with her guests and wants them to feel excited about coming to see her and happy when they are leaving.

From an early age, Autumn’s mother taught her one of the most important forms of self-care, a good skincare regimen. This sparked a passion for the beautification and health of the skin. Through her formative years, she experimented with current trends and started to look into different methods and brands. She learned to research the science behind products as well as what each line had to offer.

As a young adult Autumn realized, again from the help of her mother, her passion for skin wellness could lead to a career in helping others achieve their skin-care goals. In esthetics school, she learned that she had a natural talent for relaxation techniques and massage. Therefore, she chose to extend her training as soon as she graduated Esthetics. Upon finishing massage school she knew that she wanted to have her own spa one day.

She spent her early career perfecting her craft in spas located in and around Wichita, Kansas. She worked closely for many years with the Aveda line and gained an intimate knowledge of the products and wellness practices. During this process, she became a Spa Ambassador and Aveda Freelance Makeup Artist, which gave her the ability to travel all over the state teaching skin-care practices and performing makeup artistry.

When it came time to look for a space of her own she wanted to be able to accommodate as many guests as she could by choosing a centralized location, in the historic Orpheum building. Upon doing so was given the opportunity to work directly with the owner and architects to design her very first spa! Bijou Spa & Boutique was originally born during her time in other spas but finally has a location to call its own. She chose the name because Bijou means Little Jewel.

Since progressing her career and starting her own business she has the capability of handpicking several lines of natural products to not only use in services but to sell for at-home self-care as well. She chose each line and product based on in-depth research and personal trials to ensure nothing but the very best for her clients. She wanted her business to be an intimate and beautiful place to be able to feel comfortable and at home. She aspires to enable an environment where relationships and trust are formed. A place where people can come to learn and maintain a lifestyle of wellness and beauty for every aspect of their lives.
